The communication between the two sites is performed through the RCTS optical transmission platform, based on DWDM technology.
A specific optical wavelength is reserved to establish the connection between the two sites without interfering with the other RCTS communications.
This platform allows the transport of several network protocols, such as Ethernet or Fibre Channel, among others. The usual transmission speed is 10Gbps, but other options may be analyzed.
