The Scientific Computing Unit and AWS - Amazon Web Services promote two Cloud workshops.

Under the GÉANT IaaS to Cloud Framework Agreement, two hands-on workshops for cloud enablement will be held in the education and science sector.

The full-day workshops, which take place in Lisbon and Porto, on November 5 and 19 respectively, will be attended by experts from AWS - Amazon Web Services.

In addition to addressing the Cloud GÉANT IaaS program (https://clouds.geant.org/), the agenda will focus on topics related to the fundamentals and global Cloud infrastructure, storage, security and networking issues, as well as views on HPC computing, data architectures, analytics, among others.

As a requirement, participants will only need to bring their laptops.
