February 6th marks the 21st edition of Safer Internet Day (SID). The Safer Internet Center Consortium, coordinated by the National Cybersecurity Center and integrated by the Foundation for Science and Technology, through the FCCN unit, is promoting this national commemorative event, which will be held this year in Viseu. The SID Summit 2024 program is dedicated to Artificial Intelligence.
AI Zoom Forum: the pivotal moment of the initiative in 2024
With the aim of reflecting on the risks and benefits of Artificial Intelligence, a highlight of the program is the Zoom Forum on AI: Exploring Invisible Dimensions. On February 6, at the Aula Magna of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, between 9:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m., this initiative will bring together various experts from different areas to discuss the subject.
Participation in the seminar is free, but subject to prior registration and limited to the capacity of the room. Those interested can ensure their presence by filling in the form on the website.
The day ends with a presentation to the educational community and the general public ofthe play "ID your brand on the NET"promoted by the Altice Foundation, in collaboration with the Public Security Police. Anyone interested in attending the show can register via this link.
Under the motto "Together for a Better Internet", Safer Internet Day is an annual awareness campaign that brings together stakeholders from the public and private sectors in as many countries as possible to promote the safe and responsible use of technology, particularly among children and young people.
