In 2024, the Arquivo.pt Prize has a new category of recognition, this time for teachers who have encouraged their students to submit work in this edition. Find out all about it here.
Over the last six years, the Arquivo.pt Prize has awarded almost €100,000 in prizes to innovative projects based on the information preserved by this service provided by the Foundation for Science and Technology, through the FCCN unit.
In 2024, a new set of works will be honored that highlight the added value and usefulness of the Arquivo.pt as a public service. A total of €15,000 will be awarded.
Honorable mention for a teacher who encourages the submission of papers
This edition also has something new - the creation of an honorable mention and respective prize for teachers. Awarded by the DNS.PT Association, this recognition will be given to a teacher who has encouraged the submission of works for this edition of the Arquivo.pt Award. According to the initiative's organizers, "a cheque for €1900 will be awarded to the respective teacher for the purchase of a laptop computer".
Applications open until May 6th
The projects submitted can be carried out individually or in groups and must be accompanied by a text and a short video describing what was achieved.
The Arquivo.pt Prize is a challenge that can be set to all students in the context of a class, whether in a school or academic environment.
