Until January 30, under the 2023 edition of GÉANT's innovation stimulus program, the community linked to national research and education networks can apply for funding. Unit FCCN invites its entire community to submit their projects.
GÉANT's Innovation Program is back for its third edition. The initiative guarantees funding of up to 30,000 euros for innovative projects carried out by its community. Eligible for funding are national European research and education networks - in Portugal's case FCCN - and all the entities they serve (universities, research institutes, among others).
Applications are open until January 30th, and each project can have a maximum duration of 5 months. The program is open to all areas of knowledge involved in the GÉANT community such as: cybersecurity, education, networking or cloud technologies. "The goal of this program is to support innovative ideas coming from our community," explains GÉANT, on the program's website.
Over the last two years, GÉANT has been driving this innovation support program, supporting dozens of projects across Europe. You can learn more about the various funded initiatives by visiting a webpage created by GÉANT to showcase these innovative actions.
