Between May 31 and June 2, the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu will be the meeting point for the community served by the Unit FCCN, during the Scientific Computing Days 2022.
The city where the annual conference that serves as a meeting point for all those involved in the provision of advanced infrastructures and services to the higher education and research community will take place is already known. Viseu will host the 2022 edition of this initiative, with the close support of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu.
The event will take place between May 31 and June 2. During these three days of work, it will be the activity of the FCCN Unit that will be in the spotlight, namely matters related to each of its pillars: Connectivity, Computing, Collaboration, Knowledge, Security and Innovation.
The program includes technological presentations, plenary sessions, working meetings and workshops, as well as a more cultural program on the first evening, and the customary dinner will be held on the evening of the second day. In total, it is estimated that about 400 people will participate in the event over the three days of work.
This will be the 13th edition of the Jornadas de Computação Científica, an event which, since 2011, has brought together the Unit's community FCCN to share the main news regarding its projects and services, as well as the most relevant trends in their respective areas of activity.
