The program for the Jornadas FCCN 2024, the largest annual meeting of the national research and higher education community, is now known.
This year, the initiative will take place between April 15 and 17, at the Pestana Casino Park and the Madeira Congress Center, with the close support of ARDITI - Regional Agency for the Development of Research, Technology and Innovation.

The main trends and technological innovations in the spotlight
Over three days, through presentations , workshops. plenary sessions, round tables and working meetings, the Jornadas program FCCN will allow participants to acquire knowledge and contribute to the dialogue in different areas.
Connectivity, Computing, Collaboration, Knowledge and Security , the pillars of the Foundation for Science and Technology's FCCN unit, are the main themes of the program. During the various sessions, participants will be able to talk to guest speakers, experts in these areas and the main people responsible for the services that FCCN brings to the education and research community.
The latest technological innovations in areas such as Virtual and Augmented Reality, Multimedia or Science Management, and even Communication and Public Procurement, among many others, will also be in the spotlight this year.
There will be plenty of opportunities for networking and hobbies
Moments of networking and socializing, as well as activities to get to know the Autonomous Region of Madeira and the Social Dinner on April 16 complete the program. Participants will also have access to entertainment and cultural performances that will reflect part of Madeira's culture.
There will also be a competition running throughout the three days, in which everyone can take part and be in with a chance of winning prizes.
