During the month of June, the National Scientific Computing Unit (FCCN) of the Foundation for Science and Technology returned to face-to-face work, following the approved deconfinement plan. The decision implies the return of services such as the Studio FCCN and other infrastructures. Find out under what conditions this return will take place.
In order to protect the health of workers, subcontractors and visitors, the Unit FCCN has implemented a return-to-work plan and updated the Contingency Plan, based on the Deconfinement Plan approved by the Council of Ministers on April 30, 2020. The measures adopted are in addition to the recommendations and information issued by the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).
Studio FCCN reopens its doors
The return to face-to-face work also means gradually resuming use of the Studio FCCN. The fact that this is a physical space with a limited area requires the implementation of additional safety measures. For this reason, the equipment will be cleaned twice a day or whenever there is a change of user (for this purpose, recording sessions will be scheduled at least one hour apart).
On the other hand, the use of certified masks and gloves is now mandatory for people handling studio equipment. During recording, users may remove the protective material, provided that a distance of 4 square meters with technicians in the same space is guaranteed.
Every 20 minutes of stay in the space there will be a break of 5 minutes for air renewal. At the end of the recording of takes with the same speaker, this period will be reduced to 20 minutes. Likewise, there is a limit of two people in the video aisle and the recording studio and one person in the audio aisle. Likewise, only the elements necessary for the recording of the contents will be admitted into the studio.
