A survey of around 1,300 users of the FCCN services aimed to gauge the level of community satisfaction during the Covid-19 pandemic.
86% of users of the FCCN services have been satisfied with the provision of these services during the lockdown period resulting from the new coronavirus pandemic. This is the main conclusion resulting from the survey carried out among the community served by the Unit FCCN, during which, from July 20 to August 14, around 1,300 users were polled .
The vast majority of respondents (91%) are linked to Higher Education, with 59% of respondents teaching at university or polytechnic institutions. The participation of technical-administrative staff (23%) and researchers or doctoral students (19%) should also be highlighted.
In terms of the ranking of the use of services during the confinement period, Colibri stands out, with 93% of respondents having used this tool. This data is not surprising, considering the growth in the number of meetings in the order of 4000%, during the first four months of 2020, compared to the same period in the previous year.
Still on the services most used by respondents, we highlight the Online Knowledge Library (35%), Portugal's Open Access Scientific Repositories (18%) and Filesender (17%). In total, 98% of the participants in this survey said they would recommend the services FCCN.
