O 8th Research Data Management Forum will be held on 25 and 26 November.
Already with 7 editions held between 2016 and 2020, co-organized by RCAAP, FCT and the University of Minho, the GDI Forum is bringing together and energizing the community of professionals and researchers involved in activities supporting the management of research data in order to develop technical skills and capitalize knowledge and practices.
It is a capacity-building and discussion space for sharing ideas, emerging initiatives, projects and best practices in support of research data management that seeks to bring together digital repository and data centre managers, information technologists, library, archive and data curators, informatics specialists, researchers, data scientists and science managers from research institutions and science funding bodies.
This 8th in-person GDI Forum- at the University of Coimbra - follows the model of previous editions, with a programme that will run from 11am on 25th November to 4.30pm on 26th November. The program includes two workshops, a moment dedicated to the demonstration and presentation of projects and good practices in the session dedicated to flash talks, and also a panel discussion of emerging themes, resulting from the evaluation of the satisfaction survey of the previous Forum.
