Training celebrates World Digital Preservation Day (#WDPD2019) on November 7.
As in 2017 and 2018, Arquivo.pt once again joins the celebrations of this world day that takes place on the first Thursday of November. Organized by the DPC (Digital Preservation Coalition), the World Digital Preservation Day aims to "celebrate the work done by the community", as well as to value digital preservation.
A training dynamised by Arquivo.pt will be held in the Small Auditorium of the FCT premises -FCCN. The objective is to maximize the productivity of its users in the operation of the service and to transmit good practices on the preservation of the Web.
According to Arquivo.pt, the workshop's main targets are information professionals (such as librarians, archivists and documentalists), website owners (professionals from communication and image offices, for example), web content authors (such as bloggers) and teachers, students and researchers interested in historical research on information from the Web and digital preservation.
