With the aim of raising awareness and promoting open science practices among the community of researchers, science managers, students and the general public, FCT promotes, as part of the celebrations of the International Open Science Week, an event entitled "Open Science: Access, collaboration and sharing".
This online event will take place on October 27th between 09:30 and 10:30. Participation is free and requires prior registration.
Open Science is scientific activity carried out in an open, collaborative, and transparent way, facilitating the sharing and communication of processes and results (data, publications, and others).
This session will discuss services available to the community to promote the practice of open science, in particular b-on and the transformative agreements (open access publishing at no cost to authors), the network of open access scientific repositories and services for managing research data. The session is organized by FCCNthe FCT unit whose mission is to ensure technology and resources for research, science and the development of new knowledge.
