Registration for the different workshops of the 13th edition of ConfOA (which will be held in person and online) is now open. This way it is possible to participate, on October 10th, in the workshop "Open Science: Diversity, Inclusion and Sustainability" - which is the central theme of the event, in 2022.
Likewise, on October 11, registration is open for the workshop "Good Practices and Innovation in the management of scientific journals. On the 12th, it will be the turn of the theme "Good practices in the management of Repositories" to be highlighted, with the realization of another workshop. All training sessions are free of charge, with limited registration required. You can find out more on the event's page.
The event in Maputo is related to its new designation - previously a Luso-Brazilian conference, ConfOA is now the Conferência Lusófona de Ciência Aberta. The change consecrates "the widening of its scope as a space where Open Science is thought and discussed in Portuguese", explains the organization.
As in previous editions, ConfOA's goal is to bring together the communities that develop research activities, development and management services and policy definition related to Open Science. Thus, this meeting aims at sharing, discussing and disseminating knowledge, practices and research on these themes.
