New training, promoted by INA, hosted on the Public Administration Distance Learning and Training platform for Large Audiences aims to "contribute to the understanding of the importance of the protection of personal data", as well as the rights of each citizen. The course begins on 25 November and enrolment is now open.
Do you know who has access to your data and whether it is protected? Do you know the purposes for which they are used? These are some of the starting questions of the new INA - Directorate General for the Qualification of Workers in Public Functions training, hosted on the NAU Platform.
With an estimated duration of 3 hours, the course will allow anyone interested to learn more about the RGPD and its importance. Free of charge, this training is available online 24/7 from 25 November until 25 May 2020.
Learning is carried out in a dynamic and interactive way, relying, for such, on pedagogical materials such as interactive videos, quizzes or manuals. The completion of the course allows you to download a digital certificate.

The NAU platform
Launched in April 2019, the NAU is the national initiative for the operation of a technical and operational infrastructure to support the publication and promotion of content in MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) format. Transversal to various ministries, the NAU enables the development of training actions for a greater number of employees and citizens, with higher quality, greater frequency and lower costs.
The project's funding comes from the European Union's European Regional Development Fund and the Community Operational Programme COMPETE 2020, under the Portugal 2020 framework. The platform is part of the National Initiative for Digital Skills (INCoDe2030 https://www.incode2030.gov.pt)
The NAU platform is based on the open-source software managed by Open edX , which has as its main mission the promotion of open and massive online courses, used in universities around the world, adding 14 million registered students. Open edX was founded by Harvard University and MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in 2012.
