NAU, the platform for Distance Learning and Training for Large Audiences, operated by the FCCN unit of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), as part of the Incode.2030 initiative and co-financed by SAMA, launched the online course "Teleworking in Times of Isolation" on May 8.
This online course is an initiative of the Agency for Administrative Modernisation (AMA) and aims to support the development of socio-professional and digital skills, as well as helping to reconcile family and professional life in a work-from-home context.
In the last decade the concept of the workplace has been moving away from its traditional concept and, because of the circumstances imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, recently a majority of us have been forced to exchange our usual workplace for an improvised one at home. This sudden change required the implementation of new working models and tools.
The course is free, is available online since May 8 and has a total duration of 1h30m. With the completion of the course, the trainees will be able to: understand the main advantages and challenges inherent to telework; identify and apply productivity and motivation strategies in a remote work environment; know several tools and platforms to support remote work; know how to plan and organize the day in telework; and understand the need to reconcile personal and professional life effectively.
At the end of the course, trainees will have the opportunity to test their acquired knowledge and simultaneously review the topics covered. They will be able to obtain a certificate, which will be awarded to final grades of 50% or more.
