Winners of the 2022 edition of the Arquivo.pt Prize, which distinguishes uses of the information preserved by this service, will receive their award on November 24th.
It will be during the Commemorative Session of the National Day of Scientific Culture: the excellence of research in Portugal, organized by the Foundation for Science and Technology, that the Archive.pt Prize 2022 will be awarded. The event takes place on November 24th, starting at 2:20pm, at the Thalia Theater, in Lisbon.
The event's program includes the participation of Prime Minister António Costa, as well as several actors of the national scientific system, such as the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Elvira Fortunato. The awarding of the Arquivo.pt 2022 Prize will take place from 3:50 PM onwards.
The Arquivo.pt Prize annually aims to reward innovative works based on the historical information preserved by Arquivo.pt. The works must be practical applications or studies based on information accessible through Arquivo.pt, that demonstrate the usefulness of this public service and the importance of preserving information published on the web. The works may focus on themes from any area (e.g. Education, History, Sociology, Communication, Health, Informatics).
