Fifth edition of the award that distinguishes Arquivo.pt's useful applications has open applications until May 4th 2022
The Arquivo.pt Award is back in 2022 to once again reward original and innovative works that demonstrate the usefulness of the Arquivo.pt service, as well as the importance of preserving and using information published on the web. In total, there are 15 thousand euros in awards.
Entries must have Arquivo.pt as their main source of information, being practical applications or complete research studies based on the information preserved by this service of the Unit FCCN. Entries can cover any subject area (e.g. Education, History, Sociology, Communication, Health or IT).
The competition is open to all interested parties, both individuals and groups. Applications are open until May 4, at 13:00 (Lisbon time), and the regulations, notice and application form are already available online.
The applications will be assessed by a jury made up of personalities of recognised merit in the areas covered by the call. The first three places will be awarded, respectively, with €10,000, €3,000 and €2,000. An honourable mention will also be awarded, which includes the offer of a two-year subscription to the newspaper Público - the official communication partner of the Arquivo.pt Award 2022.
