In this way, it will be possible to stimulate the sharing and reuse of this information. Another open data resource to be created concerns the implementation of a national register of outputs of science and technology, with the aim of aggregating them in a single database.
The application now approved will also act in the field of business intelligenceIt will produce indicators to support management and decision support processes, based on national records of publications and funding. Finally, another objective is to promote the policy of open access to research results funded by FCT. This step is seen as strategic for increasing the potential impact of funded research.
